Neomantra is also contributing PPE to the “Makers for COVID-19” coalition.
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Neomantra and the Big Picture Foundation have begun the local production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
We are currently producing face shields and tension relief mask straps. Every package ships with a piece of artwork and a hand-written note of gratitude.
These are being provided for FREE to the community. If they make a positive impact on your life and you are able to do so, consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Big Picture Foundation or a charity of your choice.
Big Picture Foundation empowers middle and high school-age children to use the arts to create an interactive global community. With 79 groups from 31 countries, we are connecting children worldwide. View our Winter 2020 Global Gallery, our recent Earth Art Collaboration, and our We Are The World video.
Our current production capacity is 50 face shields per day. We are currently distributing them to the local community, from Brooklyn, NY to Stamford, CT.
We are using the Open Source designs; each product listing refers to the specific design and supporting material.
All of our shields are printed in PETG, the currently preferred material as it can be sanitized with chemicals and UV. Our mask straps are printed in both PETG and PLA. Read this Prusa Guide for more information on cleaning face shields.
IMPORTANT:
Our face shields should only be used as a last resort when proper medical equipment is unavailable. They are being furnished in a Good Samaritan effort. While most of the designs have been approved by the NIH, the face shields have NOT been manufactured in a certified clean facility or to any specific standard. Please see our Legal page for our Release and other important information.
